Instructions for Use of Cards
Please confirm instructions for the use of your card before using the service.

Cautions when using a credit card

Please sign the signature strip at the back when you receive your credit card.

  • Please sign the back of the card with your signature when you receive your new credit card.
  • Credit card fraud which happens with the credit card that have not been signed will not be compensated.
  • Never lend your credit card to others.

Registering your PIN

  • If you have not designated your password when applying for a credit card, or have
    applied for a credit card on the homepage, register your PIN as described below before using the credit card.
  • How to enter your PIN
    • Dial (ARS) 1588-9955 → and press ⑦ (Register the PIN) to register your PIN
    • Woori Bank branch: Bring your ID and register the PIN

Always check the amount on the credit card slip before signing on it. Only the card holder is entitled to sign for transactions.

  • Regularly check whether you have your credit card after receiving it. Make sure to check the amount, name of the membership,
    member number, transaction date and such details in your presence before signing the credit card receipt.

If you have lost your credit card, please report to the Woori Bank branch or Woori Bank Card Customer Service Center immediately

  • If you pay your share KRW 20,000 for compensation, the entire wrongful use amounts after reporting the lost credit card and the
    entire wrongful use amounts by the third party 60 days before the report date will be compensated
  • When you report your lost credit card to BC Card or Woori Credit Card Customer Service Center, please inform us whether you want to issue your credit card again. If you do so, you can receive your credit card without visiting the branch.

Please inform us of any changes to your personal information.

  • If your office address, home address, phone number, payment date, or payment account is changed, please call Woori Card Customer Service Center or contact the nearest Woori Bank branch.
  • Change report and inquiry

Please check your credit card renewal date.

  • If you do not receive your renewed credit card when your credit card is expired, please contact the nearest Woori Bank branch..
  • When you receive a renewed card, destroy the old card completely to the extent that its original shape cannot be recognizable, or
    return to the Woori Bank branch.

For your information!

  • If your PIN is not properly registered, some transactions can be prohibited, such as Internet purchase or cash advances service.
  • The IC PIN for the IC card cannot be registered by calling the ARS number or online. Please register your IC PIN at the nearest branch.
  • You may not be able to use your credit card without your IC PIN in some foreign countries. When you make payment using your IC card abroad
    you need to input your IC chip password, instead of signing on a receipt. If your IC card is locked due to incorrect PIN input three times in a row, the IC card will be invalidated. Therefore, please visit the Woori Bank branch and check your IC chip PIN before going abroad.
