Guidelines for Reporting Lost or Stolen Cards

  • If your credit (check) card has been lost or stolen, please inform us immediately.
  • To enquire about or report lost and stolen cards:
    • Woori Card customer
      service center 1588 – 9955
    • BC Card exclusive
      line for report: 1588 – 4515
    • BC Card customer
      service center 02 – 520 – 4515
  • If you tell us you want to re-issue the credit card, when you report your lost or stolen credit card, you can receive your credit card without visiting the branch. You can also report your lost or stolen credit card, or apply for re-issuance on the Internet homepage.

Compensation application

  • If you find a wrongful use amount, please visit the nearest Woori Bank and apply for compensation.
  • Application documents
    • Woori Card compensation application form and questionnaire (Woori Bank form)
    • A copy of the ID card
    • KRW 20,000 (card holder's share) investigation fee (if the wrongful use amount is more than KRW 200,000)
  • Compensation processing information
    • Compensation will be determined after investigation and review, according to the membership clauses Article 20 and 22.
    • Compensation processing details will be notified to you by letter.
    • Compensation takes about 30 ~ 60 days.
